About the Role

As Soul Supper’s Events Intern, you will play a key role in the planning of, execution, and breakdown of all Soul Suppers. This role is directly involved in the planning and preparation as well as the on-site management of future Soul Suppers. Your primary responsibilities will include planning of Soul Suppers, organizing supper logistics, sponsor outreach, communication with vendors, and connecting with the Soul Supper community ahead of any suppers. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to work within a creative, fast paced environment.

What You’ll Do

Assistance of planning, preparing and executing Soul Supper events

Organizing supper logistics including brand sponsors, event venues, chefs and rental services

Work closely with the on-site crew to set up and run the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time

Managing the day of programming including communicating with on-site vendors and venue managers

Assist in event execution by communicating the event vision and goals to third party production vendors.

Manage the day of content creation if the content intern can not be in attendance. Does not limit to creating content at the supper, during set up, and working to deliver content in real time.

Assist in ideating, building, and growing the experiential process, policies and frameworks

Assist in post-event management including invoicing, vendor pick-ups, etc.

Assist with budget tracking

Work on securing products for gift bags + partner outreach for potential supper sponsors

Act as a main point of contact at the event

Our Ideal Candidate

Must be based in NYC or able to travel.

Hands on experience with event product + programming

Highly creative, energetic, proactive & collaborative team player

Cares strongly about customers, community, aesthetic & understands what's on-brand with Soul Supper’s branding

Strong understanding of event management

Creative eye for site design, branding and creating an experience with the space

Excellent organizational and record keeping skills

Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver

Strong Interpersonal skills

Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques

Ability to travel to Soul Supper events
